About the role
- Lead the maritime domain side of ship-level and fleet-level digital twin initiatives by converting operational knowledge into technical requirements.
- Validate models and telemetry, and ensure the digital twin delivers actionable operational, safety, and commercial value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Maritime Operations or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on maritime experience in ship operations, technical superintendent, chief engineer/chief mate, shipyard engineering or fleet management.
- Deep understanding of propulsion, auxiliaries, hull hydrodynamics, electrical/automation, cargo systems and typical failure modes.
- Experience on regulatory norms /Enterprise data integration/Exposure to ship infrastructure.
- Practical experience with shipboard sensors, condition monitoring, CBM programs or instrumentation fit-outs.
- Strong facilitation and documentation skills; proven ability to run workshops and produce concise technical artifacts.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
