About the role

  • With extensive knowledge in NVH CAE analysis
  • Understanding of various vehicle systems including powertrain, chassis and driveline
  • NVH Data acquisition analysis and reporting.
  • Subjective assessments of the complete vehicle with respect to the NVH attributes.
  • Ensure that gaps to target are visible and action plans identified.
  • Undertake root-cause analysis of NVH-related issues and devise appropriate solutions.
  • Experience to perform and evaluate the most common loadcases used to predict the NVH performance of a vehicle.
  • Extensive experience in and understanding & solutioning of how to develop a vehicle with good NVH performance
  • Develop optimization strategies suitable for NVH performance to ensure the optimal delivery of the required performance attributes
  • Specify and utilize tests as appropriate to support the process.
  • Experience with NVH CAE design verification (DV) process and support programs using , CAE , MBD and BEM (Boundary Element Method) software’s to assess system level NVH performance.
  • Interpret CAE results supporting design/release activities to ensure NVH targets are achieved
  • Knowledgeable with SEA software and modeling for NVH and acoustical products at vehicle level within the automotive industry
  • Validate CAE predictions against hardware testing confirming model accuracy
  • Develop, implement, and document new NVH CAE
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals

Requirements

  • Experience range of 4 to 6yrs.
  • Required with NVH EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors’ Degree/Masters’ Degree in Engineering ( Preferred streams – Mechanical, Engineering Design, CAD/CAM, Thermal and Automobile)
