About the role
- Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions or applications.
- Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
- Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge.
- Requires the exercise of original thought and judgment and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- Builds skills and expertise of his or her software engineering discipline to reach standard expectations for the applicable role.
- Collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Total 10+ year of experience in IT industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- Primarily responsible for analyzing, debugging and resolving production support issues
- Develop functional knowledge of the application and gain Subject Matter Expert level knowledge
- Strong experience in Java 8 / 11, Spring, Spring batch, Spring boot, Hibernate, Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Proficient in AWS Load Balancers, EC2, ECS, Lambda, Cloudwatch Monitoring, CDK scripts, Gitlab pipelines
- Knowledge with Linux commands, shell scripting
- Able to analyze Splunk logs and Dynatrace monitoring, performance and provide recommendations to improve performance
- Strong documentation skills and problem solving abilities
- Should be willing to work and resolve tickets as per Incident SLAs
- Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries
- Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to issues with in application
- Advanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
