About the role
- Take full ownership of motion design projects, managing them from initial concept and visualization through to execution and final handoff
- Lead motion design projects, managing timelines, providing creative direction, and addressing any challenges to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Design and animate 2D and 3D motion graphics, character animations, and dynamic scenes
- Integrate illustrations and other design elements into motion projects for added depth and uniqueness
- Use typography, textures, and effects to enhance the storytelling process
- Create custom illustrations, concept art, and visual assets to enhance animations and videos
- Develop detailed storyboards and style frames to communicate ideas effectively before production
- Visualize abstract ideas and translate them into clear, engaging visual content
- Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, and project managers to meet campaign objectives
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards
- Mentor junior motion developers, offering guidance and feedback to elevate the team's overall capabilities
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in motion design, animation, and illustration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
- 7–8 years of experience in motion design, preferably in a marketing or agency setting
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, Blender 3D, or similar
- Strong illustration skills with a proven ability to create original and adaptable styles
- Expertise in animation principles, motion design, and storytelling techniques
- Understanding of video production workflows, including compositing and rendering
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of motion design work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
