About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Execute functional, POS, and API tests using tools like Postman.
  • Perform database testing and data validation using SQL Server.
  • Review code for testability and maintainability.
  • Debug issues and identify root causes in both test and production environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to CI/CD processes and contribute to pipeline setup.
  • Work on test automation for web applications using tools like Robot Framework, Eggplant, or Selenium.
  • Maintain test cases and execution in ADO (Azure DevOps).

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Experience in Agile Functional tester
  • Experience in Agile, API testing, Data Base testing(SQL Server) is required
  • Technical skills: Programming languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript
  • Test automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of software architecture and APIs (REST, GraphQL)
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation
  • Good to have Retail domain Knowledge
