About the role

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to architect how data can unlock business value through the right operating model.
  • Refine and implement client Data Operating Model vision, strategy, and design— including organization structure, roles & responsibilities, governance, and processes.
  • Provide insights on common pitfalls in operating model transformations and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Shape and lead the implementation of modern data operating models, including POD-based delivery and data factory constructs.
  • Set up and scale PODs to meet evolving business needs, ensuring agility and efficiency.
  • Support the creation of methods and processes to embed new ways of working across client organizations.
  • Develop actionable roadmaps for complex data transformations using Agile principles.
  • Lead and coach client teams in adopting new operating models and data engineering practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Inspire and educate both clients and internal teams about the latest trends and innovations in data & AI technologies, positioning Capgemini as a leader in the market.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with Technology Partners and key stakeholders to ensure Capgemini remains a leading partner.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data operating models in large enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery principles and product-oriented team structures
  • Experience with data transformation programs, including roadmap development and execution
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior decision-makers
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake)
