About the role

  • Mission-Critical Activities in the area of Infrastructure, Platforms, and Connectivity within the OT domain have the mission to define, implement, and evolve the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for connectivity solutions that support the company’s digital strategy and business requirements.
  • Design and Technological Analysis Study, evaluate, and contribute to the adoption of new technological solutions, including monitoring, supervision, redundancy, and FO management methodologies.
  • FO Network Planning and Expansion: Prepare studies and proposals for expanding the proprietary fiber optic network.
  • Project, Execution, and Works Supervision: Monitor construction, maintenance, and reconfiguration projects of the FO network.
  • FO Network Operation and Support: Manage and monitor requests in ServiceNow (SNOW).
  • FO Registry and Technical Information Management: Update, correct, and validate FO records in PNI.
  • Process Management and Continuous Improvement: Monitor and critically evaluate processes related to FO management.
  • Organizational Coordination: Operational coordination between teams from different organizational units involved in FO management.
  • Leased FO Management and Cost Optimization: Strict control of leased fiber optics.
  • Enhancement and Commercial Exploitation of Proprietary FO: Promote the use of fiber optic network with areas responsible for managing lease contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Certifications: Cisco (CCNP/CCNA) or equivalent in networking.
  • Project management certification (PMP, ITIL).
  • Additional Experience: Working with OT networks in critical environments (energy, utilities).
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3).
  • Languages: Spanish or another European language.
  • Skills: Experience in negotiating telecommunications contracts.
  • Familiarity with redundancy solutions and advanced monitoring.
  • Tools: Experience with advanced GIS platforms and network automation tools.
