About the role

  • Embed with a web delivery team and act as the day-to-day owner of delivery priorities
  • Break down business goals into clear, actionable backlog items that developers can confidently deliver
  • Own sprint and short-term delivery planning, keeping work focused, sequenced, and achievable
  • Actively manage dependencies, risks, and blockers, resolving issues before they slow the team
  • Ensure the team has everything needed to deliver: requirements, designs, decisions, access, and context
  • Balance incoming requests with delivery capacity, helping stakeholders understand trade-offs and timelines
  • Review delivered work, gather feedback, and feed learnings into upcoming iterations
  • Keep stakeholders regularly informed on progress, changes, and delivery outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience working with web or digital product teams in a Product Owner, Delivery Lead, or Business Analyst role
  • Strong understanding of web delivery workflows (frontend, backend, APIs, UX/UI collaboration)
  • Clear, structured thinking — you know how to turn ambiguity into executable plans
  • A delivery-first mindset: pragmatic, outcome-driven, and comfortable making trade-offs
  • Confident communicator across developers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar
  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments without losing momentum
  • Nice to Have: Experience working with large Australian retailers and companies in eCommerce
  • Visa or permission to travel to Australia.
