About the role
- Assist in the strategic direction for facilities operations.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
- Assist in development of training programs to increase team technical capabilities.
- Be part of a 24/7/365 team to monitor and assist sites with incident response and management.
- Assist in the incident management team's operational aspects in a way which protects, maintains, and improves the value of the data centers.
- Assist in site incident investigation by utilizing structured problem solving to identify root cause of failures.
- Demonstrate the ability to self-start, be responsive, and be creative when finding solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, customer service and cost performance, and assist in the execution of approved plans.
- Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for senior management.
- Assist Management to ensure optimal roll out and training in standard tools, processes, and systems where possible.
- Help create and implement BMS/EPMS training to include mechanical plant management, utilization validation, and report/trend generation.
- To develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization, being an ally to all.
- Manage multiple project deliverables, requirements, and navigate complex situations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage resources under high pressure.
- Assist in MARC led Root Cause Analysis.
Requirements
- Three to five (3-5) years of data center experience preferred.
- Be able to work different shifts within 24/7/365 coverage strategy.
- Proven record of accomplishment for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Multilingual is a plus.
