About the role
- New business acquisition: Identify and win new customers and projects for tailored software solutions in Switzerland.
- Pipeline development: Systematically build and actively maintain a high-quality sales pipeline through structured lead generation, qualification (e.g., via MEDDPICC), and consistent follow-up of opportunities through to closing.
- Consulting: Analyze potential clients' needs and provide advice on bespoke software development, cloud, data, and AI solutions.
- Proposal management: Prepare proposals and respond to tenders/RFPs in close collaboration with management.
- Networking & events: Build and maintain your network by attending meet-ups, client events, and trade shows/conferences.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in IT consulting or custom software development.
- Proven track record in new client acquisition with a focus on custom software, cloud, data, or AI solutions.
- Strong aptitude for sales and business development.
- Experience with relevant platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, etc.).
- Business-fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2).
