About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students and their families
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on financial aid options
- Assist students in completing financial aid applications
- Conduct individual financial aid counseling sessions
- Evaluate financial aid applications and determine eligibility
- Collaborate with other departments for seamless support
- Proactively identify scholarship opportunities
- Assist in developing financial aid information sessions
- Maintain accurate student financial aid records
- Provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent is required
- At least two years of customer service experience required
- Customer service with a bank is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy and compassion in assisting students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
