About the role

  • Coordinate and monitor MAP’s recruitment, hiring, and retention practices.
  • Work with the HR manager in researching and identifying opportunities to promote open positions.
  • Draft and post job announcements and maintain current application materials.
  • Coordinate hiring processes and support hiring committees throughout the selection process.
  • Draft employment contracts for review.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new employees.
  • Create and maintain personnel files and ensure accurate recordkeeping in the HRIS.
  • Assist managers to support compliance with staff evaluation requirement.
  • Assist with monitoring compliance related to staff timesheets, leave usage, benefits enrollment, and other HR function.
  • Assist with tracking and recognizing staff anniversaries, program awards, and employee recognition initiatives.

Requirements

  • College degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices, including strategies for countering implicit bias in the workplace.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize work effectively.
