About the role
- Coordinate and monitor MAP’s recruitment, hiring, and retention practices.
- Work with the HR manager in researching and identifying opportunities to promote open positions.
- Draft and post job announcements and maintain current application materials.
- Coordinate hiring processes and support hiring committees throughout the selection process.
- Draft employment contracts for review.
- Coordinate onboarding for new employees.
- Create and maintain personnel files and ensure accurate recordkeeping in the HRIS.
- Assist managers to support compliance with staff evaluation requirement.
- Assist with monitoring compliance related to staff timesheets, leave usage, benefits enrollment, and other HR function.
- Assist with tracking and recognizing staff anniversaries, program awards, and employee recognition initiatives.
Requirements
- College degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices, including strategies for countering implicit bias in the workplace.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize work effectively.
