About the role
- Partner with executive leadership to translate firm strategy into operational plans, systems, and processes.
- Serve as a thought partner to practice and functional leaders to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the firm.
- Identify operational risks and opportunities, proactively implementing solutions that support growth and performance.
- Oversee operational workflows that support consulting delivery, including project setup, resource coordination, and internal handoffs.
- Partner with practice leaders to improve utilization, capacity planning, and delivery consistency.
- Establish and monitor key operational metrics to ensure high-quality execution and client outcomes.
- Assess existing systems and workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate processes.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable operational infrastructure to support firm growth.
- Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Management, or a related field required; advanced degree a plus.
- Eight (8) or more years of progressive experience in operations, consulting operations, or professional services environments.
- Proven experience leading operational strategy and execution within a consulting, professional services, or mission-driven organization.
- Strong financial acumen with experience partnering closely with Finance on budgets, forecasts, and performance tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience partnering with senior leaders.
