About the role
- Knowledge management and taxonomy: evolve documentation and taxonomy structure; define conventions (tagging, naming, structure); ensure insights are organized and reusable.
- Knowledge repository: implement or evolve the repository, run tests with internal users, and integrate it with channels (e.g., Slack).
- Research Ops automation with AI: design and document automation solutions (e.g., parsing materials, summarization, data extraction/structuring, task generation), and maintain the workflow with high quality.
- Process efficiency: identify needs via internal workshops, redesign processes, document them, and train the team to increase self-service and reduce rework.
- Research operations (hands-on when needed): support or lead studies (e.g., desk research, light qualitative research, conversation analysis), and create/update service blueprints and journey artifacts in partnership with other researchers.
- Metrics and impact: monitor operational indicators (research usage, cycle time, adoption of standards) and communicate efficiency and quality improvements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Research Operations, UX Operations, Research Enablement, or an equivalent role focused on processes, tools, and the organization of insights.
- Practical experience in knowledge management: creating and maintaining taxonomies, organizing repositories, defining tagging/naming standards, and improving findability.
- Demonstrable experience automating processes using generative AI (LLMs, agents, advanced prompting) applied to workflows, documentation, or data analysis.
- Ability to conduct ad-hoc research and support journey mapping/service blueprinting with guidance.
- Ability to document processes clearly and train teams to adopt new workflows.
- Experience with Research/Knowledge Ops tools (Dovetail, Confluence, Notion, Airtable) and designing governance for their use.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, standardization, and quality assurance of research artifacts.
- Deep knowledge of service design and mapping service blueprints.
- Familiarity with API integrations and automation tools (Zapier, Make, basic Python).
