About the role
- Manage and execute a regional field sales strategy targeting licensed cannabis businesses within assigned territory.
- Conduct on-site sales visits and relationship-building with owners, managers, and decision-makers.
- Source, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the cannabis retail landscape, competitive environment, and market trends.
- Partner closely with Sales Development Rep, Marketing and CSM.
- Deliver clear value propositions, positioning statements, and in-field demonstrations.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in field sales, account executive work, territory management, or outside sales.
- Experience engaging with small-to-mid-size business owners; cannabis retail experience a plus but not required.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Comfortable with on-site sales, in-person presentations, and closing deals independently.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in the field, manage a regional schedule, and prioritize outreach effectively.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Coachable, adaptable, and motivated by a fast-growing, mission-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent applicable experience.
