About the role
- Key Responsibilities
- - Develop custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
- - Use Visual Studio Code as the primary environment for building, debugging, and maintaining SharePoint components
- - Manage source control, work items, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- - Create and maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, workflows, and site structures
- - Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Power Automate, and Power Apps
- - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- - Follow best practices for code quality, security, and performance
- - Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint‑related issues across environments
- - Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
- Required Skills & Experience
- - Hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online and SPFx development
- - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
- - Experience using Visual Studio Code for modern web development
- - Practical experience with Azure DevOps for repositories, pipelines, boards, and release management
- - Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and REST APIs
- - Understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and content management
- - Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- - Strong communication and documentation skills
- Nice‑to‑Have
- - Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- - Knowledge of Azure AD, Azure Functions, or serverless architectures
- - Experience with automated testing or CI/CD best practices for SPFx
