Designer

• Attend project programming meetings in person or on Zoom with salesperson, educational specialist and client to determine scope of the project.
• Collaborate with salesperson and educational specialist to strategize on how to best address the client’s needs.
• Develop conceptual design solutions that reflect the information gathered during the intake meeting.
• Create and present visual presentations including 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and furniture specifications based on standard deliverables using Meteor software platforms.
• Specify furniture, including finishes, and custom items within our design and quoting software using multiple manufacturers.
• Designer must work within budget constraints, timelines, recommending product solutions as discussed with salesperson and client.
• With Studio team, perform specification review and develop installation documents for each project.
• Must show excellent communication skills when presenting to customers and team members.
• Willingness to elevate product knowledge and application by researching K-12 and higher education environment design, product options including 100+ manufacturers, and industry trends.
• Must adhere to the Meteor Core Process as well as Design Drawing and Process standards.
• Apply knowledge of ADA, Life Safety, Fire and Electrical codes.
• Attend in-person Studio activities – scheduled meetings and training. Build a strong relationship with Studio team members.
• Must be willing to travel to client meetings, company events, onboarding in Gainesville, Florida, and functional training.

Interior Designer

Manager

• The Strategic Bids & Contracts Manager (SBCM) is responsible for compiling the company's response to solicited bids for educational furnishings and consulting services, and taking ownership of the bid process from beginning to end.
• Compile information from necessary internal and external parties to develop one cohesive and thorough bid response.
• Review, track, analyze and report all bid and contract events throughout the lifecycle of each contract and communicate this information to necessary team members.
• Assist with maintenance of Meteor’s contracts as well as execution of various requests from our Sales team including insurance modifications, performance bonds, and vendor registrations.

• Maintain the organization of order requests in the Purchasing inbox
• Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and communication and discrepancies to project teams for resolution
• Process and organize all purchasing documentation such as purchase orders, customer contracts, vendor POs, PO revisions, and acknowledgements
• Review acknowledgements issued from vendors and save pertinent information and documentation in ERP
• Maintain effective communication with project teams and leadership on any order or acknowledgement issues or changes
• Assist with the Missing Acknowledgement report and communicate with vendors to identify all ship dates
• Assist with the weekly order status reports and special projects
