About the role

  • Manage complex employee relations cases end to end, including performance, misconduct, grievances and investigations.
  • Coach and support leaders to build confidence and capability in managing ER matters.
  • Provide practical, compliant advice aligned to legislation, industrial instruments and policy.
  • Assess risk and escalate complex issues, including tribunal preparation and representation.
  • Identify trends and improvement opportunities to reduce future ER issues.
  • Contribute to ER frameworks, tools and projects across the business.

Requirements

  • Experience in an Employee Relations or similar advisory role
  • Proven ability to manage complex, end to end ER cases (performance, misconduct, absence and investigations)
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to coach and support leaders on ER matters
  • Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels and building strong working relationships
