About the role

  • Implement, monitor, and review operational strategies to improve productivity, service delivery standards, and accuracy toward premium service levels and customer satisfaction
  • Drive continuous improvement to ensure all branch key stakeholders are managing processes and outcomes to achieve positive EBITDA results and reduce expenses
  • Work closely with warehouse and transport departments and service providers/contractors to maintain building service standards in line with OH&S legislation, HACCP requirements, WorkSafe regulations, and quality assurance
  • Continually leverage best practices to drive outstanding business growth and efficiency in line with Company strategies and goals
  • Prepare and maintain headcount, budgets, forecasts, and business plans for the Branch to ensure growth and positive financial results
  • Work closely with your key department leaders and the Executive Management team to drive solutions, ensure DIFOT to customers and achieve financial growth and success for the Branch
  • Monitor and review rostering in line with forecasted labour requirements and wage costs
  • Provide and promote exceptional service standards and new behaviours to promote a customer focused culture, whilst driving high performance expectations

Requirements

  • Solid management and leadership experience, a minimum of 3-7 years in a similar role
  • Proven background in the foodservice or FMCG industry is preferred however not essential
  • Operational and functional expertise across all areas of sales, inventory, finance, marketing, purchasing, warehousing, and distribution
  • As a results orientated leader, you will be hands-on and accountable to deliver high service levels and inspire, coach, and develop your team for success
  • You will be business and computer-savvy with a solid understanding of financials against budgets.
