About the role
- Build a high-performing application engineering sales team with technical expertise
- Collaborate with the development team to provide application sales engineers with technical training
- Coach application engineering team to leverage technical expertise for competitive advantage
- Foster strong relationships with customers, sales directors and account managers
- Support industry director in achieving annual business performance goals
- Understand key drivers and outlook in targeted chemical sub-industries
- Collaborate with marketing team to identify trade shows for lead generation and growth
- Support development of annual budget including new business target
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in engineering (chemical engineering preferred) – MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in application sales (chemical industry preferred)
