About the role

  • Assist with billing operations by ensuring accurate invoicing and fostering strong relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Manage the customer case queue and monitor business unit specific customer email inboxes.
  • Upload invoices to portals and review portal processing, error messages, or rejections; report bi-weekly for problem accounts.
  • Issue monthly statements via email and postal mail.
  • Monitor the case queue and assign tasks to the appropriate billing/AR representative.
  • Manage and prioritize customer shared inbox replies to address customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and forecast revenue.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to billing discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in billing.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all billing transactions and correspondence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or college level course wear in finance or accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
  • Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
