About the role
- Assist with billing operations by ensuring accurate invoicing and fostering strong relationships with clients and vendors.
- Manage the customer case queue and monitor business unit specific customer email inboxes.
- Upload invoices to portals and review portal processing, error messages, or rejections; report bi-weekly for problem accounts.
- Issue monthly statements via email and postal mail.
- Monitor the case queue and assign tasks to the appropriate billing/AR representative.
- Manage and prioritize customer shared inbox replies to address customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and forecast revenue.
- Handle customer inquiries related to billing discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in billing.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all billing transactions and correspondence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or college level course wear in finance or accounting preferred
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
- Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
