About the role
- Advise the commercial organization on financial and strategic matters to support sound business decisions
- Lead regional budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes in accordance with corporate requirements
- Ensure accuracy and quality of month-end and year-end closings for the European region
- Build financial models for strategic initiatives and support M&A activities from due diligence through integration
- Design and improve KPI frameworks and dashboards to enable transparent performance management
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance efficiency and financial processes across the region
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in Controlling, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Strong knowledge of SAP R/3, BW, BO, S/4 HANA and Microsoft Office (Excel, Analysis for Excel, PowerPoint); keen to explore AI and automation to improve business processes
- Experience in business case development, M&A and IFRS reporting
- Excellent command of English and German; an additional European language is a plus
- Experience working across borders and in multicultural environments
- Analytical, structured and hands-on, with strong communication skills
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
