About the role

  • Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence in alignment with the GMA vision
  • Lead and develop the GMA Operations & Excellence team
  • Optimize processes, workflows, and systems (e.g., Veeva MedInq, PromoMats)
  • Drive digitalization and omnichannel projects as well as medical information services
  • Design and deliver B2B training and establish a unified GMA training framework
  • Ensure compliance, quality management, and audit readiness
  • Maintain close collaboration with internal and external partners and with members of the GMA leadership team

Requirements

  • University degree in healthcare, life sciences, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in operational excellence and process improvement within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in Medical Affairs (ideally at a global level) and in leading teams
  • Strong project management and IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • High intercultural competence, strong team spirit, and a proactive, goal-oriented approach
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%)
  • Excellent English skills (fluent written and spoken)
