About the role
- Trains staff in agency policies and procedures, motivates and leads staff.
- Maintains working knowledge of CARF or other governing body standards and ensures their implementation on an ongoing basis.
- Develops and maintains active partnerships with funding sources on both a programmatic and administrative level.
- Maintains a consistent pattern of referrals and enrollments appropriate for maximum utilization of staff and/or to meet funding requirements.
- Monitors assessment of program quality and uses results to improve participant planning and programmatic planning and development.
- Reviews progress notes as well as hours billed if appropriate for staff supervised, to ensure quality services and maximum utilization of staff.
- Ensures all assignments are completed on time and that appropriate duties are delegated and followed up on.
- Reviews monthly financial reports for revenue, expenses, and variance from budget (+/- 10% within lines, neutral or positive net year to date).
- Analyzes and discusses recommendations with supervisor when performance varies from budget.
- Maintains an active caseload that ensures personal fiscal performance and sets a positive example for center staff.
- Works with staff to ensure that reports and billing are submitted promptly.
- Participates in discussion and development of best practices with other Area Center Directors to ensure that services and documentation are standardized and that we are advancing the performance and reach of the agency.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in serving a similar program population.
- Master's degree with license preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required.
- Requires supervisory and leadership abilities.
- Ability to observe and work well with people.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
