Manager

• Overseeing store operations, resources, and budgets to ensure all goals and benchmarks are met or exceeded.

Retail Manager

Director

• Trains staff in agency policies and procedures, motivate and lead staff.
• Maintains working knowledge of CARF or other governing body standards and ensures their implementation on an ongoing basis.
• Maintains knowledge of Federal, State, and internal guidelines and policy to ensure compliance and implementation.
• Develops and maintains active partnerships with funding sources on both a programmatic and administrative level.
• Monitors assessment of program quality and utilizes results to improve individual participant planning, as well as programmatic planning and development.
• Reviews documentation related to team workload, such as case notes and/or billing if appropriate for staff supervised, to ensure quality services and maximum utilization of staff.
• Ensures all assignments are completed on time and that appropriate duties are delegated and followed up on.
• Shows ability to effectively manage staffing patterns given financial and program outcome information and to ensure that income and expenses of location are within a reasonable variance (+/-10% within lines, neutral or positive net year to date) of budget.
• Analyzes and discusses recommendations with supervisor when performance varies from budget.
• Maintains an active caseload outcome according to program expectations.
• As appropriate, participates in discussion and development of best practices with other leadership to standardize where possible and advance the performance and reach of the agency.
• Responsible for meeting program outcomes and grant/program requirements.

• Establish eligiblity, if appropriate.
• Establish professional and ethical relationship, develop/maintain individual plan for services.
• Meet performance outcomes in enrollments, graduation rate, employment, average wage, and retention details.
• Develop and maintain effective communicaiton and working relationships with referring staff and internal team.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of required outcome reporting system as required by project or grant.
• Maintain participant files with all required agency and funding source paperwork and complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality according to agency guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources that can be utilized to support participant needs. (i.e. transportation, medical, child care, utilities, etc.).
• Make referrals, advocate, and follow-up.
• Model workplace appropriate attire, interactions, etc.

Events

• Conducts safety and loss prevention audits and operational inspections and prepares written reports with recommendations.
• Uses tools to minimize agency loss and protect brand image, including identifying safety concerns, theft, and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, and monitoring site security.
• Ensures thorough investigation and resolution of internal and external cases, conducting consistent and objective Loss Prevention audits, and reports findings to management.
• Supports retail operational and corporate administrative staff and training teams across 20 retail locations and multiple rehab sites.
• Assists in promoting awareness campaigns on cash control measures, physical security, and safety.
• Identifies, evaluates, controls, and minimizes the agency's exposure to loss or damage to physical assets, fidelity losses, and losses resulting from liability claims.
• Regularly reviews agency reports and promptly analyzes them to assess trends, monitor progress related to goals, and recommend changes.
• Proactively addresses theft, fraud, ethics, and operational accountability issues.
• Provides training in risk management/loss prevention techniques and strategies.
• Assists Human Resources with needed investigations or fact-finding across divisions.
• Partners with health safety, insurance companies, division leaders, and local agencies to reduce agency exposures.
• Partners with facilities to troubleshoot and repair LP equipment, address alarms, safety concerns, etc., for day-to-day operations and during new store construction and remodeling projects.

Regional Loss Prevention Manager

Human Resources

• Provides agency phone support from a front desk setting.
• Directs visitors, consumers, and vendors with various needs.
• Must ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
• Provides information regarding programs and agency events.
• Responsible for receiving and sending Fed-Ex, over-night, and other priority mailings.
• Maintains visitor daily sign-in/out logs.
• Assist HR department with filing, coping documents, as well as file maintenance as needed.
• Responsible for notification to upper management of any suspicious person, packages, or happenings within the facility.
• Checks over-night and weekend messages daily, taking messages and distributing as appropriate.
• Required to answer the phone as follows: "Thank you for calling MERS/Goodwill, how may I help you."
• Performs other duties as assigned.

HR Receptionist

• Benefit management, including employee communicaiton, enrollment, and plan assistance.
• On-going benefit educaiton, including new hire orientation.
• Must ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
• Oversees and manages all benefit policies with understanding of plan types, plan costs and plan administration.
• Responsible for accurate and timely employee benefit deductions as well as assisting the payroll department with employee/employer reconciliations.
• Performs on-going employee benefit education, including new hire orientation.
• Assist VP HR-Admin determining that the employer third party invoicing is accurate and paid timely.
• Assist VP HR-Admin in maintaining accurate and timely filed personnel records in accordance with data storage policies.
• Perfoms other duties as assigned.

HR Benefits Specialist

Ecommerce

• Maintenance of organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and sales floor.
• Sorts donated goods and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, salvage, and trash, according to established guidelines.
• Displays merchandise on the sales floor by stocking, straightening, and rotating merchandise.
• Maintains high quality and high quantity standards while working at a quick and steady pace.
• Efficiently and safely transports items, carts, racks, and bins to and from sales floor.
• Stocks straighten, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of the store, to include sales floor, warehouse, and donation dock, in an efficient manner to adhere to Goodwill Retail Procedures.
• Upholds cleanliness standards of the store by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and/or shining surfaces.
• Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership.
• Safeguards company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft.
• Reports any incidents of theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, or employee hotline.

E-Commerce Clerk

Customer Support

• Oversees and maintains function of the HRIS and some downstream systems, including system administration, configuration, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Manages system permissions, user access, and settings to ensure security and proper system operation.
• Configures system changes, including workflows, business rules, module settings, and user roles.
• Researches and troubleshoots system issues, collaborates with third-party support, and recommends enhancements.
• Oversees the daily administration and manages internal and external support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Conducts data validation, audits, and testing to ensure system integrity.
• Collaborates with leadership and operations to identify system improvements and process optimization opportunities.
• Maintains functional knowledge of processes and system integrations across onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance, and other areas.
• Evaluates the impact of system changes on end users and provides recommendations for optimization.
• Creates reports and compiles and analyzes data reports and summaries.
• Ensures system compliance with data security, privacy regulations, and organizational policies.

HRIS Support Specialist

• Accurately pull orders from the shelf, scan merchandise to track the chain of custody, and add to cart.
• Use disc-resurfacing machines according to instructions.
• Notify the supervisor of any errors in pulling, listing, or damaging products.
• Locate boxes and packaging material appropriate for the item being shipped.
• Package and seal items, preventing damage to merchandise.
• Weigh items, ensuring correct postage based on weight and dimensions.
• Create address labels and postage stickers, and ensure the package contents.
• Sort packages into designated containers, bags, or carts for shipping.
• Assist the shipping company with loading or unloading packages.
• Support the supervisor with the purging or relocation of inventory.
• Prepare the production station before and clean the station after every shift.
• Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership and works cross-functionally with other teams to increase communication.
• Utilizes safe work practices through awareness and observation and contributes to ensuring the workplace is hazard-free by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and designated walkways debris-free.
