About the role
- Produce quality photographs that highlight the product well.
- Photographs should be taken from multiple angles and give a visual overview of all critical features, distinguishable markings/tags, or potential flaws.
- Accurately scan in merchandise to track the chain of custody.
- Place photographed items in the designated cart.
- Prepare the production station before and clean the station after every shift.
- Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership and works cross-functionally with other teams to increase communication.
- Utilizes safe work practices through awareness and observation and contributes to ensuring the workplace is hazard-free by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and designated walkways debris-free.
- Maintain a professional appearance always, adhering to MERS/Goodwill's dress code.
- Safeguards agency assets, including cash, donated items, and purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft.
- Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of agency assets.
- Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED Preferred.
- The ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with co-workers, customers, and management.
- Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population—necessary math, computer, and website navigation skills.
- Complex reasoning and decision-making skills are required.
- The ability to type 40 + WPM is strongly preferred.
