About the role
- Independently repair, install, and maintain payment and banking systems at customer sites
- Close cooperation with our product management and support teams
- Carry out installation and configuration of software and hardware according to various migration strategies
- Provide customer briefings and training following new installations
- Diagnose, resolve, and document software and hardware issues
- Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for our customers and colleagues
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics technician, electronics technician for devices and systems or automation technology, IT specialist for system integration, IT systems electronics technician, or a comparable qualification in electromechanics)
- Some prior experience in technical field service is desirable
- Valid driver's license (Class B)
- IT knowledge of operating systems and networks is advantageous
- Enjoy working with people, persuasive skills, and a customer-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel and work on-site frequently (overnight hotel stays are the exception), reliability, strong communication and teamwork skills
