About the role
- Provide independent legal counsel across multiple functional areas
- Advise leaders and manage selected projects
- Support Mercy’s commercial contracting needs excluding physician contracting
- Review, revise, process and maintain vendor relationships across multiple segments of its healthcare business
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise drafting, negotiating, and structuring complex commercial agreements
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks affecting commercial relationships
- Experience negotiating agreements involving digital health, SaaS platforms, data sharing, cybersecurity, and intellectual property
- Ability to identify legal and operational risks in complex transactions and develop practical contractual solutions
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with clinical, operational, finance, IT, and procurement leaders
- Experience supporting contract lifecycle management, developing templates and standards, and improving contracting processes in a high-volume, enterprise environment
