About the role
- leads efforts in identifying, investigating, and recommending margin improvement opportunities.
- overseeing the Decision Support team and the Costing team.
- facilitating significant cross-functional collaboration.
- aligning financial strategies with operational goals.
- reports to the Executive Director - Financial Planning and Capital Management.
- partners with community CFOs for leading a team that delivers insights, recommendations, and results that drive margin improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial analysis, healthcare operations, or coding, with significant experience in a decision support setting.
- Proven leadership experience in managing financial teams and driving financial performance improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Expertise in cost accounting, coding chargemaster, and revenue mapping is preferred.
