Accounting Manager

• Support Mercy For Animals’ accounting and finance operations via general ledger and month-end close accounting support
• Manage and process accounts payable (including working with predominantly english speaking vendors), accounts receivable, and team member expenses using our existing financial platforms
• Support the Finance team with recurring account reconciliations and analyses
• Serve as the first point of contact for Finance-related team member questions and third-party requests including managing internal Finance intranet pages and the Finance inbox
• Record journal entries and complete balance sheet account reconciliations to support month-end close
• Explain fluctuations in account activity
• Support internal controls and process improvement to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with financial policies
• Follow all organizational policies and procedures
• Perform any other duties assigned

Accounting Specialist, Global

Manager

• Maintain a comprehensive and current view of all top-tier donor relationships, including stage, strategy, and next steps
• Ensure each donor/funder has a clearly defined plan, with assigned ownership and timelines
• Identify stalled opportunities and proactively drive next steps to maintain pipeline momentum
• Prepare donor briefings, meeting materials, and talking points for senior leadership and the CEO
• Ensure each interaction has a defined objective, relevant context, and desired outcome
• Coordinate across teams to gather and synthesize relevant information in advance of meetings
• Track all post-meeting actions and commitments across stakeholders
• Ensure timely and consistent follow-up aligned with agreed-upon strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and next steps within CRM and related systems
• Align efforts across philanthropy, programs, communications, and executive leadership
• Support multi-stakeholder engagement strategies for complex individual and institutional donors
• Ensure consistency and continuity in donor engagement across internal teams
• Partner with executive support staff to coordinate and prioritize CEO engagement with top donors
• Support proactive planning of donor interactions in alignment with organizational priorities
• Ensure each CEO engagement is purposeful, strategic, and effectively leveraged

Manager, Transformational Giving Strategy

Director

• Independently manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects, using structured moves management to deepen relationships and increase giving over time
• Develop and execute individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies, including annual plans and measurable benchmarks
• Conduct qualification to assess donor capacity, affinity, and readiness for increased investment
• Meet or exceed goals for donor outreach, revenue, and pipeline progression
• Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with donors and prospects to build relationships and present meaningful giving opportunities
• Communicate organizational priorities and funding opportunities in a compelling, donor-centric way
• Draft personalized and semi-personalized donor communications, including emails, proposals, and stewardship updates
• Serve as a primary relationship manager for donors within the Compassion Collective, representing the program in donor interactions and engagement opportunities
• Partner closely with donor experience and direct response teams, who design and execute programmatic communications and engagement strategies
• Provide frontline insight on donor sentiment, engagement trends, and opportunities to strengthen the mid-level donor experience
• Identify and actively cultivate donors with the capacity and inclination to give at higher levels, regardless of current giving
• Develop and execute intentional upgrade strategies to move donors into major gift portfolios
• Maintain accurate, timely records of donor interactions, strategies, and next steps within the CRM
• Track progress against revenue goals, engagement metrics, and upgrade outcomes
• Collaborate across philanthropy, donor experience, and digital marketing teams to ensure a cohesive donor journey

Director, Leadership Giving
