About the role
- Execute comprehensive PR strategies and manage media relations to maintain a positive public image.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, media outlets, and editors.
- Pitch ideas, arrange interviews, and run press activations to secure positive media coverage.
- Implement and oversee PR projects and campaigns aligned with organizational goals.
- Coordinate PR efforts with internal teams including design, content, product and partner marketing, and HR.
- Develop and execute PR plans identifying target audiences, crafting key messages, and selecting channels.
- Support brand messaging and develop strategies that enhance reputation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify differentiation opportunities.
- Oversee crisis communication plans, monitor public opinion, and manage organizational responses to issues.
- Track PR performance metrics, analyze results, and optimize strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in PR, media relations, or communications, preferably within the fintech or crypto industry.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape, social media platforms, and industry trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic PR plans.
- Experience working with media, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle crisis situations effectively.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
