About the role

  • Work with the Senior Communications Consultant to brainstorm, craft, and organize communication products and plans.
  • Assist in the development of products that include, but are not limited to FAQs, articles, blogs, newsletters, executive summaries, briefings, social media campaigns, digital or graphic visual storytelling, copyediting, drafting video scripts, communication plans or projects, content strategy, brochures, writing talking points/key messages, etc.
  • Ensure communications products meet high quality standards while ensuring all required deliverables are submitted on time.
  • Develop multimedia content for use on web sites/SharePoint, videos, graphics, animations, podcasts, etc.
  • Create engaging and informative content for various digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to gather content requirements and ensure consistency in messaging.
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data to measure results to assess and adjust communication for effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to technical specifications and brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of the Arts, in Mass Communications, Strategic Communications, Public Relation, Corporate Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and a Common Access Card.
  • Active security clearance desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues across business lines and levels.
  • Ability to drive results and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
  • Ability to balance tasks, competing priorities, and short deadlines.
  • Support a full range of communication activities and communications including organizational announcements, articles, blogs, vignettes, fact sheets, road maps, and other communication collateral.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat, etc.
