About the role
- Represent Mercos at an average of two trade shows per month across Brazil, actively working the aisles, booths and networking areas.
- Identify and approach decision-makers at mid and large organizations, performing quick qualification and delivering high-impact demos on site.
- Ensure real-time lead capture in the CRM, maintaining organization even on high-intensity days.
- Manage the full sales cycle: from initial contact at the event through to contract closing (high-ticket deals).
- Execute structured, personalized post-event follow-ups to ensure Time to Value from the first contact.
- Conduct online demos and negotiation meetings with IT, Sales and Executive stakeholders.
- Act as an internal consultant to validate what works at events and what needs adjustment.
- Document processes and learnings to help Mercos scale this channel strategically.
Requirements
- Solid experience (5+ years) in B2B SaaS sales with high-ticket deals.
- Proven track record in active outbound prospecting (hunter profile).
- Prior experience selling or prospecting at trade shows, conferences and large events.
- CRM usage as a habit, not an obligation: consistent and disciplined record-keeping.
- Knowledge of how the following segments operate: distributors, manufacturers and wholesale.
- Availability for frequent travel (approximately two weeks per month in the field).
- Full autonomy to manage schedule and territory (ownership mindset).
- Clear communication, strong presence and the ability to adapt messaging to different profiles.
- Natural resilience and proactivity to remove impediments in the sales cycle.
