About the role

  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to supplier agreements, service contracts, supply contracts, confidentiality agreements and partnership agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
  • Use contract management software (ProJuris).
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in contract execution and management.
  • Develop and implement contract management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure consistency and alignment in legal strategies.
  • Maintain and update contract templates and standard terms.
  • Handle contract disputes and provide guidance on resolution strategies.
  • Stay up to date with changes in contract law and industry best practices.
  • Support the Senior Lawyer on corporate matters (amendments to articles of association, powers of attorney, etc.).

Requirements

  • Law degree with active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • Experience in contract law, preferably in an in-house legal department of a multinational company.
  • Advanced English (oral assessment will be conducted).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law principles and practices.
  • Postgraduate degree or master’s in law and/or compliance.
  • Experience in Corporate Law (articles of association, powers of attorney, etc.).
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with contract management systems (ProJuris).
