About the role

  • Directing, planning, organizing, supervising, and coordinating clinical services across all clinical services teams
  • Monitoring compliance and clinical standards; productivity and quality assurance efforts, meeting contractual and internal performance standards
  • Serve as a member of the Senior Clinical Team and work collaboratively to ensure all program operations are integrated and functioning as designed
  • Liaise with appropriate external entities and internal Mercalis departments
  • Create, analyze and present data and reports as relevant to clinical operations
  • Directly supervise and lead nurses who lead clinical team members to provide ongoing coaching and mentorship
  • Develop, review and update policies, procedures, process improvement, training, and evaluation to support efficient clinic workflows, productivity, quality improvement and customer service
  • Contribute to and monitor clinical budget
  • Facilitate and support process improvement initiatives that enhance the patient and health care provider experience
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process, and policy requirements
  • Participate with clinical leadership to establish and maintain clinical competencies for the clinical teams
  • Work with clinical training and clinical QAQC to ensure clinical teams are trained and monitored to meet compliance and program expectations
  • Initiate and run internal clinical department meetings as needed
  • Contribute to the design of clinical programs with the patient’s experience as the leading priority
  • Ensure on time adherence to training deadlines for all corporate policies and procedures governing access to confidential data

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN, RN) with a valid registered and active nursing license in one or more states. Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years leading teams in healthcare; 2-3 years of clinical healthcare experience
  • Recommended 2-3 years of reimbursement/insurance, healthcare billing, physician office or health insurance processing experience
  • Must be a motivated to manage priorities while working independently and cross functionally with a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Must be flexible and have the willingness and ability to respond to changing circumstances and expectations readily punctuality and reliability
  • Comfortable with collecting, gathering, and analyzing data to effectively problem solve and make decisions
  • Display a high level of professionalism, integrity, maturity, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, time management, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable interacting and developing positive relationships with all levels of management and various personalities
  • Proficient in MS Office
