About the role
- Establish and execute operational objectives, policies, and procedures for the Clinical Applications team
- Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and guide execution across multiple projects and disciplines
- Manage department budget and resource allocation with broad impact on business outcomes
- Drive transformational initiatives to modernize clinical application and/or training processes, ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards and emerging technologies
- Lead and mentor a team of Clinical Applications specialists including hiring, performance management, and career development
- Ensure successful implementation of Merge Imaging solutions, including workflow design, configuration, training, and adoption
- Foster relationships with key clinical stakeholders and ensure alignment with customer goals
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and other departments to ensure cohesive solution delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT or clinical environments, with a minimum of 3 years in a formal leadership role with direct reports
- Strong understanding of radiology workflows and imaging informatics technologies
- Experience developing and executing change management strategies to support clinical adoption and operational transformation
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end solution delivery, including workflow analysis, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support
- Excellent communication, coaching, management and facilitation skills
- Relevant certifications (CIIP, PARCA, CPSA, etc.) are a plus.
