About the role
- Provide finance based analytical support to Supply Chain Management
- Assist in the documentation or analysis of simple financial analysis projects
- Support the review of annual supply expense spend across Memorial Hermann
- Analyze monthly supply expense including budget to spend and supply cost unit of service
- Identify supply chain expense savings opportunities related to standardization, contract compliance, and order behavior
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration or related field required
- 1 year of relevant work experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including working knowledge of spreadsheets, database and word processing
- Proficient in data management and connecting disparate data sources for correlated results
- Business acumen and understanding of financial terms
- Data-mining, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
