About the role
- You will be responsible for commissioning, maintenance and repair, or validation of our medical devices to ensure patients are treated under the highest hygiene standards.
- As a MELAG expert, you will independently perform fault analyses on our devices, enabling you to estimate time, materials and costs for repairs and provide reliable quotes to our end customers.
- You will act as a competent point of contact for technical inquiries from regional end customers and distribution partners so that MELAG continues to be associated not only with high-quality products but also with excellent service.
- You will start your service assignments directly from home in a company vehicle (which may be individually equipped), and spare parts will be delivered to your local area to avoid unnecessary trips — saving time and reducing environmental impact.
Requirements
- You have completed electrotechnical training as an electrical technician, electrician, mechatronics technician, medical technician, or a similar qualification.
- You bring professional experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrotechnical devices and systems, ideally within a field service role.
- You are familiar with basic network technology and have good IT skills.
- You are characterized by an analytical approach to troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, manual dexterity, and a systematic, quality-conscious work style when resolving faults.
- You are willing to travel regionally within approximately 100 km of your place of residence.
- You must possess a valid Class B driving licence.
- Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
