About the role
- Lead and execute on-site technical challenges during global operations.
- Manage the deployment, installation, calibration, operation, and disassembly of weather systems.
- Ensure technical readiness and uptime before, during, and after events.
- Support field logistics, including transporting equipment, setup coordination, and on-site troubleshooting.
- Serve as an on-site point of contact during field activities reflecting the field-centric nature of the job.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and meteorology teams to define configurations and integrations, and bring resolution to customer projects.
- Support customer discussions, clarify system capabilities, and document solution designs.
- Ensure deployed systems meet technical, operational, and customer needs.
- Represent Tomorrow.io in the field with professionalism, precision, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in an Enterprise SaaS, B2B, customer-facing role.
- Hands-on experience with weather systems, such as weather stations, radars, or environmental monitoring equipment.
- Valid international driver’s license (or ability to obtain one), and comfort managing travel logistics and equipment transport.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally at a significant frequency throughout the year (approximately ~70%).
- Reliable/practical access to a major international airport strongly preferred.
- Hands-on, practical mindset, able to solve complex issues in dynamic conditions.
- Ability to design solutions involving hardware, software, and data flows.
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills in dynamic environments.
- Proven teamwork and coordination skills for working alongside a small field team.
- Clear communication and customer-facing technical presentation abilities.
- Independent, proactive, and resourceful, someone who gets things done.
