About the role
- Place and receive calls and faxes to patients and doctor’s offices for prescription refills
- Provide information and education on mail order pharmacy benefits
- Respond to patient questions and inquiries in a timely manner
- Document each call taken or placed
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Requirements
- 1+ year customer service experience
- 1+ year computer experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws and medical privacy
- Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls and refills
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Demonstrates professionalism and discretion with internal and external customers
