Assist in developing and implementing a coherent government affairs strategy, aligned with Medtronic Diabetes’ business objectives
Manage and execute specific Government Affairs projects in collaboration with other functions (Health Plan Solutions, Medical Affairs, etc.) to ensure coordination and alignment
Provide analysis and recommendations on government policies affecting Medtronic Diabetes’ operations
Engage with key stakeholders to represent the company’s interests
Develop and maintain a detailed map of key policy stakeholders, including government officials, industry influencers, and key opinion leaders
Anticipate and identify potential policy or regulatory issues that could impact the business
Educate and brief internal stakeholders on key government affairs issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in government affairs, public policy, or a related field
15 years of experience (or 13+ with an advanced degree) in government advocacy, public affairs, or lobbying, with a solid understanding of government policy, reimbursement, and regulatory processes in the US
10+ years of managerial experience
