About the role

  • Overseeing payroll consolidation and ensuring compliance with established deadlines and legal regulations
  • Monitoring overtime and additional payments, withholdings and adjustments, and supporting internal/external audits
  • Handling payroll and timekeeping related inquiries
  • Contributing to process improvements
  • Participating in payroll closure for US and Puerto Rico employees
  • Validating and interpreting payroll and timekeeping data, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation, tax withholdings, and deductions
  • Following standard operating procedures for payroll processing including timecard review, salary adjustments and managing deductions
  • Ensuring payroll and timekeeping are processed in compliance with company policy and all statutory requirements related to payroll and tax
  • Analyzing, auditing, reconciling, and resolving payroll related issues and supporting complex employee questions about paychecks, deductions, and other payroll-related matters
  • Assisting with payroll system implementations, upgrades, and enhancement

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
