About the role
- Overseeing payroll consolidation and ensuring compliance with established deadlines and legal regulations
- Monitoring overtime and additional payments, withholdings and adjustments, and supporting internal/external audits
- Handling payroll and timekeeping related inquiries
- Contributing to process improvements
- Participating in payroll closure for US and Puerto Rico employees
- Validating and interpreting payroll and timekeeping data, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation, tax withholdings, and deductions
- Following standard operating procedures for payroll processing including timecard review, salary adjustments and managing deductions
- Ensuring payroll and timekeeping are processed in compliance with company policy and all statutory requirements related to payroll and tax
- Analyzing, auditing, reconciling, and resolving payroll related issues and supporting complex employee questions about paychecks, deductions, and other payroll-related matters
- Assisting with payroll system implementations, upgrades, and enhancement
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Nice to Haves: Works independently under limited supervision
