💰 $74,400 - $111,600 per year
About the role
- Participate in a 2-year Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) with three 8-month on-site rotations across manufacturing operations
- Rotate through Operational Excellence (OpEx), Manufacturing Engineering, and other manufacturing/operations roles (e.g., Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations Innovation, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering)
- Work on-site at multiple Medtronic locations, gaining progressive responsibilities in each rotation
- Gain exposure to senior business leadership, personalized mentoring by a senior business leader, and cross-functional collaboration
- Engage in targeted learning activities, industry certifications (Yellow Belt/Green Belt), and complete a capstone project
- Lead and develop professional teams, contribute to operational excellence and process improvements
- Transition to a full-time position within Global Operations & Supply Chain upon program completion
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in engineering degree required
- Those graduating with a Master’s degree are not eligible
- 0 years of experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and do not require sponsorship now or in the future for an employment visa
- The Medtronic Operations Leadership Development Program does not provide work authorization sponsorship; individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship, are not eligible
- Highly mobile and willing to pursue different U.S. geographic opportunities
- Preferred Engineering degrees: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering (nice to have)
- Exceptional engineering students who demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills and openness to various operational assignments and locations
- Previous internship experience (not necessarily Medtronic) (nice to have)
