About the role
- Report to the Manager of Offer Development and act as the liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Finance for Offer Development responsibilities
- Own the Offer Development process for non-standard deals, including sales input gathering, financial model creation, synthesis, presentation of content to the Deal Review Committee, and timely communication of outcome to sales organization
- Provide guidance on terms and conditions of non-standard pricing requests, secure applicable approvals, and provide creative solutioning for the Surgical Sales teams
- Manage and establish tactical pricing processes and procedures as well as pricing analytic models
- Prepare and disseminate information with Marketing, Sales and Finance regarding price points, compliance commitments, modifications, etc.
- Attend periodic QBR (Quarterly Business Review) meetings and identify ways to drive continuous improvement within the Offer Development team
- Empowered and encouraged to drive efficiencies with existing processes and systems
- Deliver Offer Development training curriculum to the sales organization and other functional groups, as needed
- Take on stretch assignments and influence autonomously
- Interact with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Sales and Pricing team members during the deal development process
- Role is remote with up to 25% travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in Contracts or Pricing or equivalent experience
- OR Associate's Degree with 4+ years experience
- OR Baccalaureate Degree with 2+ years experience
- Experience in Contracts or Pricing
- Experience with deal structure, profitability, and economic analysis
- Ability to provide guidance on terms and conditions of non-standard pricing requests and secure approvals
- Ability to create financial models and pricing analytic models
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Sales, and Pricing
- Advanced presentation skills and ability to present to the Deal Review Committee
- Training and mentoring skills to deliver Offer Development training curriculum
- Advanced project consulting and management skills
- Advanced strategic capabilities and ability to influence autonomously
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
- Six Sigma and/or Lean Training and Certification (Nice to Have)
- Medical device industry experience (Nice to Have)
