About the role

  • Serve as a strategic communications leader within GCO
  • Partnering across directly with assigned leaders and functions
  • Develop and deliver impactful internal (and external) communications plans, messages, and tactics aligned with business outcomes
  • Advise and counsel assigned business partners, including senior executives
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization within GCO and outside of GCO across all operating units and regions
  • Drive both strategy and execution, establishing clear objectives
  • Create content that delivers measurable results
  • Leverage expertise in organizational communications to engage and inspire employees
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communications initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant communications experience, including 7+ years in a people or program managerial role; or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of people or program managerial experience
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and creative skills
  • Proven ability to advise and influence business partners
  • Ability to work autonomously across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and desktop publishing applications
  • Experience working within a highly matrixed, global organization
  • Creative problem-solving skills and strong business acumen to align communication strategies with business objectives
  • High level of accuracy, accountability, and organizational skills
