About the role
- Serve as a strategic communications leader within GCO
- Partnering across directly with assigned leaders and functions
- Develop and deliver impactful internal (and external) communications plans, messages, and tactics aligned with business outcomes
- Advise and counsel assigned business partners, including senior executives
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization within GCO and outside of GCO across all operating units and regions
- Drive both strategy and execution, establishing clear objectives
- Create content that delivers measurable results
- Leverage expertise in organizational communications to engage and inspire employees
- Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communications initiatives
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 10 years of relevant communications experience, including 7+ years in a people or program managerial role; or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of people or program managerial experience
- Exceptional writing, editing, and creative skills
- Proven ability to advise and influence business partners
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple stakeholder groups
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and desktop publishing applications
- Experience working within a highly matrixed, global organization
- Creative problem-solving skills and strong business acumen to align communication strategies with business objectives
- High level of accuracy, accountability, and organizational skills
