About the role
- Participate on core and cross-functional teams to create integration, characterization, troubleshooting testing, training, and guidance documents
- Lead and apply systems engineering principles to solve complex challenges in new product development
- Coach and mentor other engineers in systems engineering application
- Perform interface testing within the system and during commercial support
- Integrate the system into Electrophysiology cath lab hospital environments
- Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training and education with technical questions
- Propose and implement changes to improve systems and processes
- Act as a leader on projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Advanced understanding of Electrophysiology and comfort in the hospital environment (preferred)
- Experience in Systems Engineering including defining systems architecture within medical device product development
- Experience with the application of Design Controls for medical devices
- Demonstrated ability to create strategies and influence cross-functionally
- Demonstrated ability to act as a leader and mentor more junior engineers
- Experience with interface testing and system integration into Electrophysiology cath lab hospital environments
- Ability to support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training and education in technical questions
- Willingness to work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week (hybrid role)
- Must comply with hospital credentialing requirements when entering healthcare settings as required
