About the role
- Play a critical role in ensuring reliable product availability for life-saving medical devices by leading enterprise-level demand planning activities.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, and Global Operations to develop accurate demand forecasts, align cross-functional inputs, and drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and planning processes.
- Operate in a highly regulated, fast-paced manufacturing environment where forecast quality directly impacts patient care, service levels, inventory health, and financial performance.
- Develop, integrate and provide account or brand-specific forecasts for internal sales and operations planning which includes replenishment data, point-of sale data, sales promotion information, marketing plans, manufacturing capacity, and new distribution/product deletions.
- Assist in the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers including determining the appropriate algorithm for statistical forecasts.
- Maintain and manage product history, accurate forecasting, and promotional demand.
- Analyze internal demand stream information, and categorize according to demand patterns.
- Align sales/marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, research and development, and related forecasting and planning groups.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or healthcare-related supply chains.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, Analytics, or Operations).
- APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
- Experience supporting global product portfolios and multi-site manufacturing networks.
- Exposure to advanced analytics, forecasting models, or digital supply chain initiatives.
