About the role

  • Participate in all areas of new product development including Design, Technology development & advancement, Automation, Vendor management & Project management
  • Use Design, Reliability & Manufacturability methodology (DRM), 3-D drawing/printing and Augmented reality to develop technologies for manufacture
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, execute and deliver on New Product Development requirements
  • Lead & support teams driving technology process innovation with emphasis on improving quality, reducing variation and developing automated and semi-automated systems
  • Support process development, characterization and validation activities to support new product introduction
  • Utilize six sigma tools, project management and technology development to solve technical problems
  • Compile, document and present all learnings to project and functional teams

Requirements

  • Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant direct Science/Engineering experience within medical device environment
  • Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross- functional teams
  • Knowledge of medical device processes with a good understanding of product and process design
  • Good communicator and fluent in English, with a high level of enthusiasm and motivation
  • Good organizational, presentation and project management skills are desirable
  • Experience with Design, Reliability & Manufacturability methodology (DRM), 3-D drawing/printing and Augmented reality
  • Experience using six sigma tools, project management and technology development to solve technical problems
