About the role
- Lead the ENT business’s reimbursement strategy for Interventional Pain Products and Early Interventions therapies.
Develop and communicate US coding, coverage, and payment strategies for government and private payers.
Provide input into global reimbursement strategies and collaborate with country colleagues to establish reimbursement.
Advise cross-functional partners on reimbursement, health economics, and health policy.
Lead development of product-specific reimbursement strategies and integrate health economics into business plans.
Develop reimbursement tools (coding sheets, economic models, evidence dossiers) and monitor Medicare and international payment changes.
Represent the business at professional society congresses and monitor state policy activities; interact with retained lobbyists.
Requirements
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or commiserate knowledge and experience
Project management experience leading cross-functional teams
Understanding of US payment systems and healthcare trends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in a healthcare environment
Experience reviewing commercial coverage policies and Medicare payment regulations
