About the role
- Lead and manage multiple complex software development projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, designers, DevOps, and leaders, to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Track project progress, monitor key metrics, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Manage project scope changes and ensure appropriate change control processes are followed.
- Facilitate project meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to agile/scrum methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with other project managers and resolve dependencies between projects.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Collaborate with the product manager to manage the roadmap.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, support, and sales departments to launch new products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a software development environment, preferably SaaS.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile/scrum methodologies.
- Experience managing project schedules and resources.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other project tracking software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
